Primo Events is a B2B SaaS company with roots in online event registration for both charity and sporting events.  Recently acquired by Charity Checkout the company has exciting growth plans in the charity sector.  Our combined range of products bring good causes closer to their supporters, putting them in control of their online fundraising.  We are revolutionising the way that charities raise funds online, by leading the way in the development of fundraising technology. Our new and innovative fundraising tech is changing the charity sector for the better and is already trusted by over 4,000 good causes across the UK. Due to our continued rapid growth, we are expanding and looking for a Technical Lead Developer to join our existing development team in Lisburn.

The focus of the role is:
This is a pivotal hire for us, reporting directly to the Head of Technology you will be the technical lead for a new .NET team. The main objectives of the role will be:  

  • Serve as an expert and ensure best practice development practices and designs are implemented
  • Participate in requirements analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
  • Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
  • Test and deploy applications and systems
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code
  • Improve existing software
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle

We are looking for the following:

  • A proven track record developing .NET web applications 
  • Experience with SQL databases 
  • Experience writing Unit Testing and performing Code Reviews
  • Understanding of the Agile Development Process 
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise work
  • Ability to mentor and support junior developers. 
  • Flexible, adaptable and resilient attitude
  • Able to work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to interact confidently, build relationships quickly and establish credibility
  • Experience in scale-up stage SaaS B2B business would be desirable, but not essential
