Passionate about language and storytelling? We’re looking for a Senior Editor to produce compelling story, and help us tell our stories creatively. Are you this special person?
We’re looking for someone with exceptional editorial and copywriting skills and significant experience of working with tone of voice guidelines. You’ll build strong relationships with colleagues in digital, marketing and fundraising roles, supporting them to produce impactful story that brings our cause to life. You’ll also be well organised, adept at writing for print and digital – and have a keen eye for detail.
You’ll be responsible for managing our tone of voice guidelines, and making sure that communication across all our channels is creative, engaging and on message. To achieve this, you’ll write and edit content for a range of audiences, including deaf young people, their families and the professionals who work with them. You’ll also train colleagues across the organisation on our tone of voice, and review their work.
This role also line manages our Editor, but experience of line management is not essential and this would be a great first role for a new manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity to put your creative skills to work and help deliver our vision of a world without barriers for every deaf child.
