Are you interested in a career that makes a difference? At Certitude, we are proud of our history of supporting people with complex mental health needs and learning disabilities. We support more than 1,800 people in a diverse range of services across London. We employ more than 1,500 staff and are committed to their development. With Certitude you have the opportunity to work with incredible people, develop your career and support others to have a good life.
We provide support to a young man, who lives in his own home in Hillingdon.  We are looking for an inspiring Manager to lead a team of Support Workers to ensure that S-AM has the opportunity to live life to the fullest. SA-M has a great sense of humour and a lively and energetic personality and we would like a dynamic Manager who can support S-AM and the team to ensure that every day is a good day.  We would like a manager who can lead the team on the next phase of S-AM’s journey, doing the things he loves and also helping him enjoy new experiences in life. We have been supporting SA-M for several years now but he has spent a number of years living in a restricted environment and this has meant that he has had very little chance to get out and do the things he enjoys doing, like horse-riding, swimming and going on steam trains.
This is an exciting challenge for a Manager who is already skilled and experienced in supporting individuals with complex support needs, autism and behaviours of concern. You will have the right skills, values and resilience to ensure that everyone works together to make sure that SA-M lives the life that he is entitled to.  Working closely and meaningfully with SA-M’s family is an integral part of this role and we are looking for someone who can build and maintain a trusted and reliable relationship with both SA-M and his family.
This is not a Monday to Friday job and you would be expected to work alongside support staff to ensure that S-AM has a really great life. This is a very exciting opportunity and we look forward to meeting you.
If you are interested, apply now and our recruitment team will be in touch!
