Work as part of Beat’s support services team providing effective supervision and support to Helpline staff and volunteers.
Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. We exist to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. We are a champion, guide and friend to anyone affected, giving individuals experiencing an eating disorder and their loved ones a place where they feel listened to, supported and empowered.
Beat’s Helpline Team Leaders work alongside the Deputy Helpline Manager and Helpline Manager to support staff and volunteers on shift.
Team leaders ensure that all Helpline channels are responded to within timescales and monitor the quality of support provided.
Beat’s Helpline is open 9am - 8pm, Monday - Friday and 4pm - 9pm at weekends and on Bank Holidays. Staff work between 8:45am and 8:30pm.
