Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. We exist to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. We are a champion, guide and friend to anyone affected, giving individuals experiencing an eating disorder and their loved ones a place where they feel listened to, supported and empowered.

Summary

The aim of this role is to:

Maximise Beat’s ability to identify and engage supporters to achieve a range of objectives, but with particular emphasis on income generation.

Provide technical and creative assets to the Marketing & Income Generation Directorate and to the wider Beat team to support the execution of a variety of marketing projects.

Description

This role is pivotal to making a success of the restructure and turning Beat, fully, into a marketing focused organisation. The post-holder leads the Engagement team, who are at the leading edge of supporter recruitment. Digital marketing will be the main route to reaching new and existing supporters. We are in the process of upgrading our website and becoming more sophisticated in our use of social media. The post-holder will also make an essential contribution to the leadership and strategic direction of the wider team as one of 4 senior fundraisers (with the Director, Head of Partnerships, Head of Supporter Development).
