Job Description

North West Air Ambulance's three helicopters fly seven days a week, 365 days a year crewed by a team of highly skilled pilots, consultant-level doctors and paramedics and funded by a talented income generation and engagement team. Putting patients at the heart of everything they do, North West Air Ambulance has a life-saving mission and big ambition to deliver more, which means increasing brand awareness, fundraising and commercial income. Inspiring and authentic leadership from a talented Director of Income Generation and Engagement will be the key to unlocking potential and new opportunities, which will ultimately help NWAA to save more lives.

There's a crystal-clear organisational strategy in place that centres around patients, people and partnerships. As Director of Income Generation and Engagement, you'll be tasked with joining up NWAA's approach to stewardship for volunteers, donors and supporters in order to increase brand awareness, optimise supporter journeys and maximise income. You'll ensure that NWAA's values are embedded in activity and embodied by staff and volunteers, driving increased engagement and growth of supporter-led fundraising and commercial services.

Who are we looking for? A fundraising expert who will have oversight of double figures and has previously led and demonstrated growth in income generation in excess of £3 million. You're adept at enabling, empowering and enriching diverse and multi-disciplinary teams. Your previous track record includes income growth across a multiple income streams and you can demonstrate where collaboration has improved cross-functionality. You think strategically and laterally, with an ability to translate strategic planning into operational excellence through talented people. You embrace change and are excited and motivated by innovation.
