Job Description

Young people have spoken – now is the moment for action not excuses, because tomorrow is too late. They face a world of problems that have reached crisis level and a global leadership which is failing to take long-promised actions to provide the solutions.

As a global youth action organisation, Raleigh International exists to ignite youth-led action that will create these solutions. In doing so, we connect young people with the skills, networks, platforms, and experiences to lead action on the change that they demand.

Our Communications and Digital Marketing Team is essential to this mission. Young people want to have their voices heard and amplified; they want support telling their stories; they want to speak out on issues; and, they want support with the skills and channels necessary to take action with other young people around the world. There could not be a more pivotal and exciting moment to join Raleigh International.

As Communications and Digital Marketing Manager you will champion youth voice through our brand, content, and digital channels, leading the way in inspiring young people to find creative ways to drive long-lasting change in the world. You will work directly with young people as well as with teams across the organisation, in the UK and internationally, to deliver our ambitious new communications and digital marketing strategy and support the achievement of our new organisational strategy. In doing so, you will be managing a team of enthusiastic technical specialists and providing direction to colleagues internationally.

You will lead the communications for our first ever global environmental campaign, Action Not Excuses, inspiring young people to take action. You will engage a generation of young people to join our global movement and help tell their stories. You will also collaborate with the Programmes, Corporate Partnerships and Volunteering teams to increase the reach of our work, communicate its impact, build our profile for partnerships, recruit volunteers, and ultimately position Raleigh International as the leading global youth action organisation.
