Advice Co-ordinator – Welfare Rights Advice
Bradford, Canterbury Advice Centre (Initially remote working, moving to office based as COVID-19 restrictions ease)

We are now seeking a part-time Advice Co-ordinator to join our long-established Bradford Advice Service, on a permanent contract.

You will join a service with a long-standing history of providing welfare rights advice in Bradford and a team who are passionate about access for our clients to social justice.

As an Advice Co-ordinator, you will lead on delivering social, welfare and public law advice, including specialist benefits, generalist level debt, housing and income maximisation.
Line managing the Advice Worker Team, you will deputise for the Service Manager in their absence. Additionally, you will lead on quality processes and triage a telephone helpline and advice drop-ins when required.
Your skills and experience
To be considered as an Advice Co-ordinator, you will need:
- To be an experienced welfare benefits caseworker
- Leadership experience
- A sound understanding of the Advice Quality Standards (AQS) awarded to services delivering social welfare legal advice
